THE NATION of Israel began its long history in the land of Egypt where they were made slaves of Pharaoh. After 215 years in Egypt God sent Moses to deliver them and when Pharaoh refused to let them go God judged the land of Egypt. No other nation had seen such judgments devastate a nation as had happened to Egypt compelling them to let Israel go.
THERE IS some confusion among Bible teachers about when the Old Testament saints are raised from the grave and there need not be because scripture, rightly divided, is perfectly clear. When all the facts are considered there can be absolutely no doubt that the Old Testament saints rose with Christ. Lets consider the facts.
THE SALVATION of the souls of men and women is central to the whole purpose and plan of God. In the foreknowledge of God the plan was devised to provide a way back to God after Adam sinned and death was passed upon all men as a consequence.

Covetousness is the last of the Ten Commandments and might be considered by many to be one of the minor sins, not to be compared with the worship of idols, murder or adultry yet the Bible states that “whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all” (James2:10).
God never leaves Himself without a witness. Before the Great Flood Noah faithfully testified of coming judgment so that men were warned.
When idolatry abounded after the Flood God chose Abraham and his seed to maintain a testimony to the world of the only true and living God.
IN DANIEL’S PROPHECY chapters 2 and 7 we have an outline of history from the time of the Babylonian Empire right down to the end of the age and the eternal kingdom of Jesus Christ.
THE WAR in Ukraine is having an enormous impact on the whole of Europe and has changed the direction of foreign policy in the EU. It is causing the members of the EU to boost security to such an extent that one can foresee the EU becoming the major military power in the world.

Throughout the Bible there are many promises of a Kingdom of God that will be established on earth when wars will cease and there will be universal peace. Jesus taught His disciples to pray for that day to come in what we know as “The Lord’s Prayer”.
